The first step is to contact the relevant company’s social responsibility unit to see if it is in the running for a role.
This is usually a phone call to the company’s corporate social responsibilities department.
The company can then choose to accept the job, or reject it.
The final decision is made by the department’s social work manager.
What should you do to prepare for your social security application?
If you have no previous social security record, the company can make you provide your social media username and password for your account.
This helps the department know who you are, what you like to do, what interests you, and who you feel is a good fit for the role.
You can also ask if you can be included in the company newsletter, as part of the social media strategy for the job.

How to find out if a company is in social responsibilityThe social responsibility department will contact the company to confirm that it is ready to take on a job and make sure the social responsibility code is being followed.
The social responsibility coordinator will also contact the department manager to make sure that the social code is in place.
You will then be given a short time period to get your social status update.
The social status of a job seekerYou will be asked to sign a contract stating that you will comply with all the requirements of the code and that you are responsible for the company social responsibility policy.
The contract will tell you when you can contact the social status team to ensure that the code is still in place and to contact your department manager.
You may be asked by social status staff to complete a short form called a “social identity document” which is filled out in a written format and sent to the department by mail.
The form is not required for all jobs, and can be used for any job you want.
You must complete the form and send it to the social affairs department at your company.
If the social compliance code has not been updated for at least three months, you will be required to complete an assessment form, which is a questionnaire.
It asks for your information and your reasons for not meeting the code.
If you don’t fill it in, you may be required by social services to re-apply for a social security card.
The department will then decide whether you will receive a card or not.
