Australian Cattle Industry The social capital figure for Australian Foods and Australian Power generation is pretty high.
The company is the biggest contributor in terms of contributions, with contributions of $2.9 billion and $2 billion respectively.
That is well over twice the amount made by the Australian Industry Group.
The Australian Petroleum Production and Exploration (API) Group is also a big contributor with $1.7 billion.
The biggest contribution to Australia’s social capital came from the Commonwealth Bank, with $2,934 million.
The Commonwealth Bank is a relatively small contributor in social capital terms, but they are one of the biggest beneficiaries of the carbon tax.
It is the second largest contributor to Australia in terms on contributions.
It’s worth noting that these are the only four companies listed on the report, with the other two listed being: AGL Energy, which has $1 billion in social debt and has been in the news recently for a massive loss of assets and for its role in the Great Barrier Reef collapse.
AGL has been criticised for its involvement in the mining industry and has also been accused of corruption.
In April, AGL was fined $5.8 million by the Federal Government for breaking the rules by accepting donations from the Australian Government.
In July, it announced a $1-billion deal with the Commonwealth to buy its Australian Power Generating Unit for $2 per gigawatt hour (GWP).
